The Essence of Philosophy and the Problem of Philosophizing
Keywords:
essence, philosophy, wisdomAbstract
The work is devoted to the problem of the essence of philosophy and the understanding of the specificity of philosophizing. The definition of philosophy begins with a linguistic analysis, emphasizing the difference between the signifier and the signified, and shows that the essence of philosophy cannot be understood only through etymological explanation. In the text, philosophy appears as a continuous process of reading, which is based on the free thinking of man. Special attention is paid to Martin Heidegger's vision of the indeterminate nature of philosophy and the importance of the ancient Greek way of thinking as a way of approaching philosophy.
