Some Cases of Actualization in Oral Speech

Abstract

One of the means of actualization in oral speech is special lexical units or lexical actualizers. From this point of view, the following words, phrases or expressions give an interesting picture: ერთიც ვნახოთ (ერთიც ვნახოთ და), გავიხედე და, კარგი ერთი, ერთი ეს, შენც ახლა, არა ბიჭო, კაი კაცო. In many cases, they are not taken literally and have the function of particles. These expressions are used not only as remarks, but also in the continuous speech of the speaker to highlight the important action. The given forms once again confirm that oral speech is of an expressive-emotional nature and various specific syntactic constructions appear to express the different modalities. Such linguistic actualization of intonation reveals the speaker's emotions to what is being said."
